Однажды на улицах Кито и Лимы

Четверо в шляпах шли мимо

Стариков, женщин, детей

Мимо древних кирпичей

Шагали к Мудрой Черепахе

Один из них был в белой рубахе

Перуанские мушкетеры

Глотнув глинтвейна

Слушали ее благоговейно

Спокойны, уверенны, полны сил

Вышли на улицу - дождь заморосил.
